Annes wedding shower card and Envie

Hello Friends!
I have been having troubles posting!...no surprise there. HELP, EMILY!!!!! Anyway, I'll try again, persistence is the key.
Last night, I attended the bridal shower of a very special lady. Anne used to babysit Emily for us. This is the card and envelope I made for Anne's shower. I combined several ideas from cards on SCS until I came up with a card I loved.

Card Sketches

I recently purchased a card magazine which contained sketches, (drawings), of cards. Below are my takes of 3 different sketches.

Scallop die quilted purse

Okay, I'll admit, it has been a while since I have been near the sewing machine. However, when I saw some of the pictures of tote bags using the scallop die and the Big shot, I knew I had to try it out. These are so simple to make!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is right around the corner. The cottage wall dsp is perfect for feminine cards!

Stamp set: All Holidays and great friend

Paper: Razzleberry, Old Olive and cottage wall dsp

Ink: Razzleberry and whisper white craft...for butterfly

Tote-ally Lovin' Tess

I love Tess....She is probably one of my favorite stamp sets.

Paper: Razzleberry, whisper white and cottage wall dsp
Ink: Black Staz-On, cocoa, blush, razzleberry and old olive

This image is from the Pun Fun stamp set. The card uses a z-fold.

Thanks, Emily!

Thank you, Emily, for setting up my blog and trying to help your computer illiterate mother figure it out! I appreciate you and love you very much.

New Blog!

Hi! I'm Emily. This is my mom's blog. She is not very good with learning new technology so I had to teach her how to get a blog. She was asking me how to put a picture on a post, apparently all she thought she could do with a post is "type words". So here is me showing her how to post a post with a picture. It just so happens that this is a picture of a new, shiny penny. Anyways, welcome to my mom's blog and she should be posting shortly!
